CLIENT POLICIES & SERVICE AGREEMENT

Provider: Cascade Creature Care, LLC

1.   Authorization & Access

By booking services, the Client authorizes Cascade Creature Care, LLC ("the Company") to enter the Client's home or property and provide the agreed-upon services. The Client is responsible for providing secure, functional access to the property and notifying the Company of any changes to entry instructions.

2.   Liability Release

  • Assumption of Risk: The Client acknowledges that animal behavior is unpredictable and voluntarily assumes all risks, including pet injury, illness, escape, or death.

  • Waiver of Liability: The Client releases Cascade Creature Care, LLC, its members, and agents from all claims of liability, loss, or damage to the pet or property, except in cases of proven gross negligence.

  • Property Damage: The Company is not responsible for damage to the home or its contents caused by the pet.

3.   Adventure Hikes & Outdoor Activities

  • The Client understands that adventure hikes take place in natural outdoor environments, including trails, forests, parks, and rivers. These environments may include uneven terrain, rocks, roots, mud, water crossings, fallen trees, changing weather conditions, wildlife, insects, and other naturally occurring hazards.

  • Dogs participating in adventure hikes may interact with other carefully selected dogs. While every reasonable effort is made to supervise all interactions and create compatible groups, the Client understands that minor injuries, scratches, illness, or other unforeseen incidents may occur despite appropriate care and supervision.

  • The Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with outdoor activities, transportation, and group participation.

4.   Transportation Authorization

  • The Client authorizes Cascade Creature Care to transport their pet by vehicle as necessary for adventure hikes, boarding, veterinary care, or other agreed-upon services.

  • While every reasonable precaution is taken during transportation, the Client acknowledges that vehicle travel carries inherent risks and releases the Company from liability except in cases of proven gross negligence.

5.   Boarding

  • Boarding is provided in the Company's home and is currently limited to one client household at a time unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Client agrees to provide accurate information regarding their dog's temperament, medical conditions, medications, daily routine, and behavioral history prior to boarding.

  • Cleanliness Requirement: Because boarding takes place in my home, all dogs must arrive clean and reasonably well groomed. Dogs should be freshly bathed or groomed prior to their stay and free from excessive dirt, odor, fleas, ticks, or mats. Cascade Creature Care reserves the right to refuse boarding if a dog arrives in an unsanitary condition or requires grooming before they can be comfortably accommodated.

  • Cascade Creature Care reserves the right to refuse or terminate boarding if a dog displays behavior or develops a condition that creates an unsafe environment for themselves, other animals, or people.

6.   Health Requirements

  • The Client certifies that their pet is healthy enough to participate in services and is current on all legally required vaccinations.

  • The Client further certifies that their pet is free from any known contagious illness, fleas, ticks, or other parasites at the time services begin.

  • If a pet becomes ill during care, Cascade Creature Care will make reasonable efforts to notify the Client and may seek veterinary treatment if deemed necessary.

7.   Behavioral Disclosure & Indemnification

  • The Client agrees to disclose any known history of aggression, biting, resource guarding, reactivity, escape behavior, separation anxiety, destructive behavior, excessive barking, or any other behavioral concerns prior to services.

  • The Client accepts full responsibility for any injury or damage caused by their pet to any person, animal, or property and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Cascade Creature Care, LLC from any resulting claims, damages, attorney's fees, or legal expenses.

8.   Veterinary Care

  • In the event of illness or emergency, Cascade Creature Care will make reasonable efforts to contact the Client.

  • If the Client cannot be reached, the Company is authorized to obtain veterinary treatment deemed reasonably necessary for the pet's health and safety.

  • The Client accepts full financial responsibility for all veterinary expenses incurred and agrees to reimburse Cascade Creature Care for any expenses advanced on the Client's behalf.

9.   Equipment & Property

  • The Client agrees to provide properly fitted, secure, and functional collars, harnesses, leashes, identification tags, and any other necessary equipment.

  • Cascade Creature Care is not responsible for injuries or escapes resulting from defective equipment, improperly fitted gear, faulty fencing, invisible fencing systems, unsecured gates, or other deficiencies outside the Company's control.

10.   Photography & Social Media

  • Unless the Client requests otherwise in writing, the Client grants Cascade Creature Care permission to photograph or video their pet during services for use on the Company's website, social media accounts, and promotional materials.

  • No identifying personal information will be shared without the Client's permission.

11.   Termination of Service

  • Cascade Creature Care reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate services if a pet's behavior, health condition, or the service environment creates an unreasonable safety risk.

  • No refunds will be issued for services terminated due to undisclosed behavioral concerns or safety issues.

12.   Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • Payment Due: Payment is required in full at the time of booking or no later than the first day of service. Cascade Creature Care, LLC reserves the right to withhold service if payment is not received.

  • Daily Services (Walks/Drop-ins): Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 100% of the service fee.

  • Overnight & Boarding: Because these dates are blocked exclusively for your pet, cancellations made with less than 7 days' notice will be charged 50% of the total booking. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable.

  • Early Returns: No refunds or credits are issued for early returns or shortened trips once service has commenced.

13.   Force Majeure

  • Cascade Creature Care shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or interruptions in service resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, wildfire, flooding, road closures, natural disasters, government orders, or other emergencies.

  • In the event of an emergency requiring evacuation while a pet is in Cascade Creature Care's custody, the Client authorizes the Company to transport and temporarily relocate their pet to a safe location until the Client or emergency contact can assume care.
