Cascade Creature Care was born from countless trails, muddy paws, and quiet moments shared between founder Tessa Brydon-Yelton and her dog Pyzer — affectionately known as “Goose Bear.” What began as daily walks through the mossy forests of North Bend grew into something deeper: a commitment to caring for animals with the same love, respect, and adventure spirit that defined their bond.

Our Story

Tessa’s background in environmental science, animal wellness, and energetic healing shaped the foundation of CCC. Her years working with plants, wildlife, and companion animals taught her that care isn’t just about meeting needs — it’s about nurturing trust and joy.

The heart behind Cascade Creature Care, Pyzer is an expert napper, seasoned trail guide, and enthusiastic greeter. Though blind and deaf, he navigates the world with pure joy and unwavering curiosity. You’ll often find him tagging along on overnight stays, reminding everyone that adventure is a state of heart.
